The Upside Down Jukebox

Way more than 200!!

I LOVE the idea of arranging songs and music in general, I always want to fit everything in, a wide variety, as much as I like.

The first batch will be music I haven't overshared yet. What will be here will be about 80% "songs" many of which may be instrumentals, and about 20% classical and slightly longer works, but nothing over 30 minutes, however if longer picks appear, it's because those are essential to give as comprehensive view of what this guy is 100% confident is heavenly use of sound.

1. Fight Fire With Fire -- I love this beginning to one of their classic albums!!

2. I've never tried any other 23 Skidoo stuff, this is just perfect, I don't wanna hear anything of theirs and not like it
[media=https://youtu.be/Ppbi_hzEH4I]

3. Ghost Cop hasn't failed me yet, each song of theirs I've clicked on is stellar!!

4. But now we need to be in a sunny place for a few minutes at least
[media=https://youtu.be/tSsiS-v6_6M]

5. we remain in a sunny clime with inimitable Nino Rota Fellini music
[media=https://youtu.be/f_iK1dSJul8]

6. Building a Mystery -- For songs expressing unbelief, this is imo better than that Dear God by XTC, and REM's Losing My Religion, gimme Sarah any day over those, and even Tori's God and Crucify don't sound as smooth as this!!
[media=https://youtu.be/_QUq72fla3o]

7. Aida -- why not devote some space for my faves from Surfacing
[media=https://youtu.be/Q5wW8N4pt3U]

8. I usually just go for the catchy, but this works very well as an emotionally charged swoon worthy sounding song

9. and then there's this!! You may be wondering where Sweet Surrender is!! Well I have to save some Sarah for later, and I love some of her other songs

10. Suzanne -- this and the following songs by Leonard Cohen were all in Fassbinder films, that means something to me!!
[media=https://youtu.be/gBz3DsF1N7s]

11. Sisters of Mercy
[media=https://youtu.be/Glvk9C1AsNg]

12. So Long, Marianne
[media=https://youtu.be/bY-Dgxd1h_M]

13. unlike the above this comes from Fassbinder's Fear of Fear, Margrit Carstenson is a wife and mother who's experiencing some serious mental problems and there's a scene where she's listening to this with headpones, momentarily forgetting her domestic problems
[media=https://youtu.be/FYkJuAb0mMk]

14. a little Bob Dylan, there's a bittersweet quality here I find
[media=https://youtu.be/1iHhWh9FtsQ]

15. but we need to hear Joni Mitchell's biggest song, an incredible artist I need to listen to more of
[media=https://youtu.be/SY07dHiT2-s]

16. I saw Woodstock a few times and Arlo always made me laugh, his concept long song is quite the achievement and shall be where I leave off for now, but there'll be plenty more!!
