I was fortunate last night to see Nigel Kennedy live. He's on his first UK tour in years playing in a trio with cellist Peter Adams and the legendary Alec Dankworth on bass.
Just incredible. Such incredible musicianship on display. Huge variety through the nearly 2.5 hours. Folk music, rock music, jazz, classical. But the genres don't matter it was just brilliant.
There were remarkably still unsold seats. Mind boggling that people miss such a night. Honestly straight into one of the best gigs of my life.
