What's your 3 preferred genres of music and why?

@laurieluvsit Hard to pick 3...I'm a Rock Chick, that's my default. I've banged on about meeting Joe & Steve, from Def Leppard, when they were just starting and I was something like 7...but I heard Queen and Thin Lizzy before that, so that lead to all that.

Blues....late 80's...I was given the opportunity of seeing BB King...no real knowledge of blues before...suffice to say I became a convert! So, Buddy Guy, SRV, Gary Moore, Joanne Shaw Taylor etc...love 'em!

Country...new to me. The early 00's were pretty barren in terms of great music...all the excitement I heard from people came from country! So, listened....and enjoyed. Love Brad Paisley and Miranda Lambert.

But...I really like Jazz and Folk too..

Nice, we have similar tastes.

I saw Eric Clapton in concert with Los Lobos some time ago and Lizzy Hale with 'Halestorm' a couple of months ago ...OMG!

My fav new(ish) act is Rival Sons....Jay has some voice on him! Seen 'em a few times over the years.
