Do you like music by Tim Kinsella?

@caPnAhab I'm a 60s and 70s kid so my mind was conditioned to a whole different sound. Today's music I'm very critical of because it all sounds the same within each genre. If you listen to the music of the past compared to today the musicians feel like a second thought and it's all about the lame words not the music. It has no orchestration.

@Gibbon I agree, with you that each genre sounds homegenized. I don't think Tim or his bands really sound like anyone else, but these songs are from the late 90s/ early 2000s.

@caPnAhab about the time I gave up on new music. During the second half of the 80s and all of the 90s I struggle for music I could connect with

@Gibbon Fair enough. Did you adopt your parents' taste in music or did you find your own?

@caPnAhab found my own way. Played drums in a band during highschool.
