Does anyone remember the song Jai ho from slumdog millionaire?

It was composed by AR Rahman and is a beautiful song that is uplifting and optimistic. It is from India. I play it to uplift my mood and to remind myself my ex boyfriend is living his better life now with his wife. Finding her for him was a victory I feel. And I accidentally found out he went to a new company and left his old job. I hope he is living his life happily even if it is not with me.the song I think is about victory and love in the face of adversity. Jai ho! I like the blend of Hindi and Spanish lyrics in the song. I don’t know if there is Punjabi in there as well. It’s a very poetic song with deep metaphors and visual imagery. I can’t believe it’s from 2008. I was so young when it came out. I will always love my ex boyfriend but I let him go so he could be happy with his now wife I’m assuming. I never will replace him in my heart even if I do find someone else eventually. I guess it was a victory in life to have known him for eight years both as a friend and a girlfriend. We were connected by technology across the world from each other. Because I knew him I have been changed for good. There is no one to blame for our friendship and relationship ending or rather I asked for forgiveness for the blame to share but it nonetheless does not matter anymore. He loved me that’s all that matters. That’s what I remember. Even though we parted ways and I will never see him again, the essence of our love will never die. It’s the legacy he left me. To be loved and admired deeply by just one person is more important than being superficially admired by a bunch of people. I will always love him for the rest of my life.
