It’s really cool how interpretation of the song differs based on who and how it was sang.

The La’s singing it felt a lil rough, somewhat raw and strong. These elements made some tension… drawing this image that he is overwhelmed by the presence of the girl.

Sixpence None The Richer felt more warm, smooth, dreamy, sweet… like how teenagers feel with their first puppy love. 😆

@Oneofthestormboys i think it’s because they disbanded pretty much early (i saw 2004). Not sure tho!
