If you had a 10hr drive and could only listen to one artist, who would it be?

I would not do that. Ten hours...

I thought, where might I do that?, to put some sort of handle on it.

It would likely take that time from home to my brother's, about 400 miles away. Even with minimum rests at "T&P" stops that low mean speed is enforced by a lengthy stretch of the ordinary roads with a lot of traffic, many junctions, bends, speed limits etc. before reaching the motorway (max. speed 70mph), and typical driving conditions on the very busy motorway even if not slowed by road-works.

So... music while I drive?

Only one artist? Well, probably not any rock or pop artist; but if it were it would be one band like The Beatles or Pink Floyd. Far more likely it would be the work of one composer, probably from the Romantic to Modern era, such as Tchaikovsky, Holst or Sibelius.

I have only a radio in my car, but that gives me a lot of choice, including vitally one channel that plays a bigger range and variety of top-quality music than all the pseudo-local, commercial ones ever can, and does so without patronising twaddle from semi-illiterate presenters and peurile advertisements.

If there is nothing on the radio to attract me (though that is very rare)... believe it or not, I can switch it off!
