I am experiencing deja vu the last couple of days and I read about it

" Memory Processing: Can happen when new experiences are mistakenly linked to existing memory pathways, creating a familiar feeling. "

and I wonder, how different would life have been, had we chosen those alternate ways of linking memories, and there must be, unquestionably to my understanding, worlds where time runs differently, exactly because of different links.

I have read sometime ago how in India for example and other ancient cultures, they would consider time as non linear.

I too have observed myself how time affects the past, and that is how we can forsee the future, some more aware of it than others - indeed I have experienced an event as a drop in the liquid of time, leaving its ripples equally forwards and backwards.

I have also experienced entering different timelines and observing things that in the previous universe was different - an example, I had a hole in my shoe and I tripped to a space where my shoe had no hole! I was looking at it daily with mistrust as surely I had these shoes for so long and I was certain of the hole slowly being curved - then one day suddenly repaired itself.

Do you have similar experiences? How do you explain them, what do you see, perceive, think ?

Déjà vu for me, yes many many times and the phenomenon always fascinates and puzzles 🤔
They most likely stem from the way our brain handles memory. When a new experience shares similarities with a stored memory, it can trigger a feeling of familiarity. Neurologically, this may be a minor processing error where the brain incorrectly flags the present moment as something it has already experienced. The sensation often prompts an emotional response, ranging from curiosity to unease, and can lead to reflection on past events.

On observation and understanding of non linear time, I don’t have personal experiences. I’ve read about many people reporting similar phenomena, often attributing them to altered states of consciousness, deep intuition, or spiritual beliefs.
Your insights encourage a rich exploration of reality and the self. What do you think these experiences are teaching you about your own perception of reality? How do you integrate these moments into your understanding of everyday life?
