I had a dream about this one last night. It is in Arabic and was pretty popular long ago when I was like 13 or 14.

It is about a person who missed the caravan to the holy lands.

So they ended up heartbroken.

Something about this hits hard. Could be the nostalgia for me and also the melancholic vibes of the song itself

I spent from the ages of 4 to 11yrs old in Bahrain. When I hear spoken Arabic it always takes me back, particularly if it's a male voice. It's like a trigger for me, but a good one.

Bahrain is extremely hot in summer isn't it? They're famous for their halwa and small meat skewers

@Nunki It did used to get very hot, yes. I think 47°C was the hottest we experienced there. We had a car with leather seats and after it had been parked in the sun for a while we had to put towels on the seats to sit down 😂 I used to have permanently olive skin. Now I'm just typically English and pale 😒
