A Song And A Story

Randy Bachman who formed the Guess Who while in high school. Their name was the Reflections at the time but was told that another band already had that name so they changed it only to be told another band had that one also. Meanwhile in Canada where Randy and the boys were playing wanted to record a song. After playing a gig they head to a newly built TV station around 1 am and gave the janitor $35 to take a 3 hour nap. They had one microphone and they recorded their very first song. They go to a small record label and they liked it and asked them what the bands name was. They looked at one another and told the guy they didn't have one. So they stuck the name on top of the record Shakin All Over and on the bottom Guess Who? And that's how the name arrived.
