Playlist 1 of 365
This whole endeavor will represent a slow year of music and maybe other kinds of things I absolutely love that can be found on YouTube, in this first installment is mostly of new favorites, which I don't stumble upon that often. I hope there's something for anyone who tries it out, there's a quasi attempt to arrange each 10 videos as if it's a concept album. The ghost of a great disc jockey languishes in my mortal coil.
1. The Trip -- Still Corners -- I really love the haunting pop melody oozing from this.

2. from the film Samsara --- I started watching this film on Tubi and was so arrested and hypnotized pleasantly by this music that I have to catch the rest of the film maybe years from now, because I just want this particular music to last for ages!!

3. Georges Delerue - Thème de Camille | Le Mépris · Contempt -- the loveliest rendition of this i've ever heard so far.

4. You're So Cool -- sounds and looks sublimely trippy with my edibles doing their job.
[media=https://youtu.be/gxRq23qVE8A]
5. Keep the Streets Empty for Me -- Fever Ray -- the spirit of Bjork is strong in this one
[media=https://youtu.be/jWFb5z3kUSQ]
6. Mad About You -- Hooverphonic -- this sounds like something familiar, but I can't place it, all I know for sure it sounds awesome with a string orchestra.

7. Jenny Ondioline -- Stereolab -- if you want to make your playlist cool, an easy way is just to stick some Stereolab in it.

8. The Passenger -- Iggy Pop -- thematically this is congruent with the first, this music is a prepared journey, or is attempted to be like that by the person putting them all together.

9. Habibi -- Orange Blossom -- I LOVE when mid eastern fuses with a pulsating rockish techno beat
[media=https://youtu.be/l4mkX2bssiY]
10. Libera Me -- Jocelyn Pook -- there's parts of this singing that evokes the sound of my very favorite singer who was used by the late composer John Tavener on a number of occasions -- Patricia Rozario. It's also like that track from Sarah Brightman's Harem album that has a male soloist joining her, it's just got that rapturous feeling to it, and is a fitting conclusion to the first of 365 playlists.
