“You Get What You Give” – New Radicals

[media=https://youtu.be/DL7-CKirWZE]
“You Get What You Give” (1998) is a catchy, upbeat song by the American alt-rock band, the New Radicals. It was the band’s most successful single, reaching #1 in Canada and New Zealand, and the top 5 in the UK, Scotland, and Ireland.

The song has been included on a number of best songs of the 1990s type-lists, and it earned high praise from some noteworthy performers. Joni Mitchell stated it was “the only thing I heard in many years that I thought had greatness in it.” U2 lead guitarist the Edge called “You Get What You Give” a “great tune” and said, “I really would love to have written that. Great spirit, great energy.”
