when when was the last time you actually bought an album?

for me i think it was in the early 90s like metallica black album, rhino bucket, gnr, gilby clark, nirvana...those types of albums....with the internet nowadays i find it hard to understand why people would actually pay for them

Never 🫣 But I would buy my favorite ones if they were available in physical stores and seemed legit.. or as merch on a gig. I wouldn't pay fortune for the shipping.

@beermeplease Sound quality suffers with downloads. If you are going to play them in the car, then you’re right, it doesn’t matter.

2013. Nine Inch Nails "Hesitation Marks".
December 26, 1978, Meatloaf: Bat out of Hell, my mother saw the cover art and threw it in the fireplace and busted the record, screaming at my father for letting me buy it with my xmas money.
@NativePortlander1970 i wonder if you were driving somewhere with her and one of his songs came on the radio that she actually might say "nice song, who does this?"
@beermeplease She refused to listen to anything harder than John Denver or the Carpenters
