A 90's Story Of Rock Death

So, anyone with any true rock intelligence would know that Rock died in the Nineties. RIP

I am only 18, but my Daddy brought me up to love sports and good Rock. He was in a Rock Band. I was good at sports, but not musically inclined. Anyway...

I have been trying to figure out the Best LAST Rock Band

List of 6 (was going to do 5, but...) This list is NOT in order of who I think was the best

Pearl Jam
Stone Temple Pilots
Nirvana
Soundgarden
Nine Inch Naila
Alice In Chains

I spent time listening and judging. I was surprised at my true picks. I thought I was going to pick Pearl Jam, but Stone Temple Pilots beat them out.

So...

Stone Temple Pilots
Pearl Jam
Soundgarden
Nirvana
Nine Inch Nails
Alice In Chains

Not sure of your criteria so i'm not sure why G&R is not included but from your list I would go with pearl jam.

@sylvsn59 I thought Pearl Jam too, but Stone actually had more, and better songs than Pearl did
I did a test one afternoon, by myself (marijuana was included of course)

@sylvsn59 To me, Guns & Roses only had 3 or 4 good songs. Overrated a bit like Nirvana was

Of those bands, Weiland had the most versatile voice. The others are/were both iconic and incredible, but man, Scott was something else.

@Randi No, it does now have to be a certain type, I guess. Just good rock. White Zombie

Are you telling me The Black Keys are NOT rock??
RockVolleyGirl · 18-21, F
@Randi I don't even know who the Black Keys are
Randi · 18-21, F
@RockVolleyGirl well you need to find out & add The Killers to the list or does it need to be a certain type of Rock?
