I don't get it, 2025 MTV music video awards??!!

How can a channel that no longer does music videos do an awards for them? And LL Cool J hosting??!! Didn't he die a couple years ago? Our cable provider wants me to be confused, this is all a part of the mind control thing i was learning about the other day.

@TheYawnArchive truly, mind you I am twiddled…, and the stars must either be drugged, paid or desperate,. Because MTV hasn’t been MTV for a couple of decades.
