"Massachusetts" by the Bee Gees

Barry Gibb, the last surviving member of the Bee Gees, turns 79 today. While I never liked the "Saturday Night Fever" style, I can remember the times when they used to sing songs like this. I like them singing this style.

This is one of my favorites of their early songs. While I enjoyed all of them, there was a time when some of us had split into fans of Barry’s leads vs. Robin’s leads, and I especially loved Robin’s amazing light tenor voice.

I loved their early stuff. The twins were about 4 months older than me. I was in high school in a small town and they were having international hits. Now they're gone and here i am.

The others members died too young, especially Andy Gibb

@Poppies You're welcome. I like a lot of old songs. Most of them were melodic and easy to listen to, which most of today's so-called music isn't.

I remember them from my youth
