Working here in Germany 🇩🇪
My first thought was to get the opportunity to be a part of the emigre community supporting our struggle against the Russian behemoth, and being a music school graduate there are many ways I can do this.
I began by offering my services as a musician to local groups and orchestras, I have lots of good experiences from home, and this seemed to be a good step. Unless you’re a part of an orchestra you will not have the continuity of employment. There are lots of unemployed musicians in this country. So, I got involved in the more underground music scene, and I became a DJ. I had some experience of this from home too! So now I’m in a number of different groups and I’m able to send money to my brother on the front.
I work several nights a week at a club, and I play piano at a luncheon club in the more respected areas of Berlin society and I have joined a group of alternative musicians as a guitarist! All these to support myself as an emigre, and to help my brother in the fight against Russia.
