This song was to have a special meaning at the reception of my second wedding. Unfortunately it wasn't they in the end but pairing that tore itself apart.
My mother was wise and saw something I didn't when I got together with her. She didn't live to see our marriage but my father did. I'm sure that day she was looking down shaking her head. In the end I could hear her saying I told you so as I was financially and emotionally ruined.
