SotD: Blink-182 - 6/8

California (the album) didn't do much for me, even with Skiba in the band, but California Deluxe did. Somehow all the good stuff ended up as B-sides. It was nice to hear them experiment, get outside of the 4/4 time signature for once in their career. At any rate, 6/8 was my fav track from the record and the first/only song I bothered to learn on guitar from California. I suppose there's still time to learn Built This Pool.

I overall enjoyed California.But at times it felt it was them trying to get back to Enema or TOPAJ a little to hard. On the deluxe it was them pushing themselves more creatively.Like for instance this song they used the the 6/8th time signature.
