It is hilarious watching younger generations reacting to this song. Even funnier if you understand the lyrics to any degree.

When this came out there was alot of people from Jamaica and the Caribbean in general showing up in Toronto and Ottawa where I lived at the time. Not sure what was happening over there in the late 80s and early 90s.

Anyway. It was a few years later when I started hanging out with some Jamaicans in Ottawa that I learned what the hell this was all about.
