I love to buy cd's

I usually get most of them from charity shops. Today I found paramore riot and bjork's debut album.. I just don't see the reason to pay full price for music. I do if there is something I particularily want though. I know there is alot on youtube but I can't go online when I have a migraine. I just need to play an album quietly on the stereo.

I have ordered 100 cd lots off from Amazon. They are just the discs without the case. I would say 97 percent of the discs are good, and I have been able to rip them to my hard drive. They cost 25 bucks or less.

They thing is these lots contain everything, classical, broadway shows, jazz, soundtracks, pop, rock, country, holiday, world, and children's music. I'm pretty eclectic in my tastes so I find lots of stuff I like. The cost is pretty minimal considering, and I every time I have bought them I have found my share of music that pays for itself.

@OverTheHill What music program do you use to rip?

@SoccerFan I still use Window's Media Player Legacy for mine, though I know there are other options out there. Any recommendations?

@OverTheHill None! Was using Apple’s but doesn’t work now unless I want to by $11/month service! Explored VLC…might be workable

@SoccerFan, @OverTheHill I have a semi-pro music editing app called "GoldWave" www.goldwave.com - the basic is free but I paid something like £25 for life. In its simplest form it's like using a virtual tape~recorder: I get all my music nowadays (free) from Spotify's desktop version or YouTube - my everyday playlist currently stands at 9,915 tracks.

@OverTheHill ebay is much less and they usually don't charge shipping
