Happy 90th birthday Gino Paoli!

Born this day 23rd September 1934 in Monfalcone, Italy. One of the best-known of Italian singer-songwriters from the 1960s and after, he also did a stint as a politician. One of the first things I heard of his was this song, 'La Gatta' ('The Cat') from 1960. It is well-known among learners of Italian, for fairly obvious reasons.
