Probably from a different world here. When I was a young man drinking age was 19. I used to go to discos. Yes Saturday night fever discos. My friends and I liked the ‘High energy’ euro type disco. It was a lot like house I never lost the taste. I went through the 80s Cure, D Mode, New Order, then trance started in the late 80s. I never grew out of that bass. I’m 63 now and still love trance music. Which makes many people sick.
I like a lot of other stuff too but I know what you mean in an extreme way.
