I really don't remember because I never had eight tracks .

@Justmeraeagain No you can't. And each track had a few songs to it. You couldn't fast forward or rewind either. If your song was in the middle of the track you had to listen to the other song(s) first. Now you could skip to the next track of songs though.

@Justmeraeagain I don’t remember, but I think my older brother was able to record on a 8 track ?
