What does this line in the lyrics mean?

Song: “going, going, gone” by Luke Combs

This is a rather sad country song. About a guy losing a girl. My question is, what does the line I highlighted mean? “Like a whiskey shot at last call.”What does “last call” mean?

Like a runaway Southbound train
Like an Arizona desert rain
Like lightning in the sky
Like fireworks in July
Like a left field homerun ball
Like a whiskey shot at last call
It's like she was made for moving on
That girl is going, going, gone

Not sure about other places but when I went to a bar the bar would blink its lights at midnight to let all the patrons know that they have to place their orders for drinks now. (last call) then you had an hour to drink the drinks before the bar closed at 1 AM. I haven't been in a bar for decades so I don't know if they still do that or not.

The last time you were in a bar, were you drunk? Be honest.

@SW-User No. I was a pastor and a lady phoned me up. Her husband had just been fired from his job and had gone to a nearby bar to get drunk. She knew that when he got drunk he would come home and beat her and the kids so she was pleading with me to help. I went to the bar and ordered a coke. After a bit I mentioned to the husband that sitting in the bar was very boring. He agreed so we walked to his home. He was still sober as was I and the wife and kids did not get beaten that night.
