Do you want your old MTV? Too bad they erased it?
I heard that MTV erased all the old archives has anyone else heard this?

Many of the original videos that appeared on MTV are on youtube. Maybe the bands retained them them. They were playing music videos 24/7 so I'm sure some were erased.
Americans in general are very cavalier about these things...when Sony took over Columbia Pictures they scoured the world to restore Lost Horizon(1937) to get one good print..they realized its value

@bookerdana I collect movies and put them on DVD disc. I know its an antiquated way of doing things these days but I don't trust digital. And I sure don't trust companies like Disney to preserve an original copy of anything. I want an uncensored, unedited copy as the artist intended. The amount of censorship happening in this world should be scaring the Hell out of people
