Three songs from the past, reflecting upon the horrible change in music over the last 40 years or so….
The state of music over roughly the last 40 years has been stagnant. There is such a lack of depth and meaning within songs that it leaves those of us speechless who grew up in the past with countless songs which stirred the heart, mind and soul….
The overall society created today lacks creativity and real human emotion. It’s very artificial and phony. People who attempt to write songs in general lack the true depth and creativity required in order to impact other human beings on an organic level. It’s really sad.
Here are three songs which make me reflect upon memories from the past, both good and bad. Maybe the coddling of the younger generation and attempting to protect them from any type of negativity has produced a society without any real and meaningful songwriters and songs.
It’s really sad what the entertainment and music industry have turned into.
