What was the best decade for music?

I would say the late 60s and 70s as I can't decide on just one or the other.
I still have my vinyl album of Fleetwood Mac's Rumours that I got for my thirteeth birthday in 1977. My older brother Marc go me into them.

From about 1962 to about 1975. Of course there was great music before and after, but that was the sweet spot.

@Wol62 I don't think anything went wrong. There was still good music being made. Just not as much and by not as many artists.
