@BlueGreenGrey Same with October. While I love Scarlet, Tommorow, and Gloria, it just doesn’t feel as substantive as the releases that bookend it. War was my entry point-it was their first widely released, universally accessible record-and I had it on record. Saw them on the Unforgettable Fire, Zoo TV, Elevation and Joshua Tree 30th Anniversary tours. Just killed it live,
@SevIsPamprinYouAlways indeed, October seems like an aberration given what came immediately before and after

New Years Day is I'm sure the first U2 song I ever heard and was hooked ... I'm sure as a kid I was trying to do air guitar and air drums with that one, still love it very much, though the live version on Under a Blood Red Sky doesn't do justice to the album version on War

@SevIsPamprinYouAlways overall I was not thrilled when they took a new direction with Achtung Baby, but Zoo Station I thought was a great track on its own, and even liked other things that sounded different from what I had become used to prior, such as Lemon

@BlueGreenGrey It took me a minute to warm up to Achtung Baby, because I’m an old-school fan, and it was such a departure for them. But it quickly became my 1A to Joshua Tree’s #1. Joshua Tree is their most cohesive release, imho.
@SevIsPamprinYouAlways I understand ... I mean Boy, War and The Unforgettable Fire are my fave 3 albums and what I grew up with ... and out of those 3 I can't say which is the number 1, Boy or Unforgettable Fire

Surprisingly I didn't love October, except for Gloria and I Fall Down

Bullet The Blue Sky is great (especially The Edge's solo in Rattle and Hum), I was on the fence whether to kick something out of my top 1o to include it
