A longtime friend was visiting and I was running a playlist that had this song (among many) playing, but he said, "What the bleep is going on there ?" I had to laugh. "That’s Andreas Vollenweider, you’ve heard him here before…he’s Swiss." (My friend is of Swiss-German descent)
He rolled his eyes, saying, "See, this is the result when you take someone whose thing is yodeling and turn them loose in a jazz setting."
That struck me as funny and I giggled like I hadn’t in a long, long time. He laughed, too.
Gawd, it was good to see him again. 😄
