Question about how songs get recorded in studio?

So, when artists record songs in the studio, I have a few questions on how it is done?

1. Do they record the song in order?
2. Do they record the whole song all at once?

3. Once they sing the chorus once, do they just copy that and paste it everywhere in the song where a chorus is? Or do they keep singing the chorus every time? Every song’s chord sounds the exact same every time, how is that possible?

1. If you mean the running order on the album, no, that is determined after the mixing.
2. Usually, a band will play with as many players as possible, like bass, drums, at least one guitar, with the lead singer singing along for a "guide". Then, they'll go back and fix or even re-record parts and add others.
3. Lots of copy/pasting is done as you describe, it saves costly studio time. Even more things are clipboarded and placed anywhere they see fit.

@Fungirlmmm Recording is an arduous process, but it's my favorite thing to do.
