The song's been covered a bazillion times—everyone from John Lennon to Otis Redding, Prince Royce to Florence and the Machine, has had a crack at it. Each version is a little different, which keeps things interesting.
The song's also been in a few films, including the famous 1986 movie of the same name directed by Rob Reiner. The track fits the theme of friendship and loyalty in the film pretty perfectly.
