Sidenote: I have an original, licensed t-shirt from the Hotel California in Baja, Mexico. The stories vary whether or not the song is about that particular hotel or not. I may post a picture of it when I can. (I'm having trouble downloading pics form my iphone to my PC. I don't know why. I have done it in the past but it won't work now).

@Nitedoc most likely the hotel is named for the song, not the other way around.
