I listen to 80 songs all the time

But I was thinking if you went back to the 80s how many 28 yr olds would you meet that listened to songs from the 30s? Why is it that you’ll meet a lot of people now that listen to 80s songs but you probably wouldn’t meet that many people in the 80s that listened to music from the 30s?
