Whatever happened to Steely Dan?

I know they phased out in the early to mid eighties after their Gaucho album (Hey Nineteen)…. Donald got into his smooth jazz era and Walter got into producing I think. They’ve gotten back together to tour here and there, and yes, Walter passed not too long ago. Donald was out touring last summer as Steely Dan alongside another band (I wanna say Styx but don’t quote me).
