Little Jackie - 'The Stoop'

My GLAMmother turned me onto Imani Coppola, back when I was younger, and I've followed her career ever since.

She does a multitude of different styles, and in the early noughties she put together this group called Little Jackie. They're old school R & B. Here's 'The Stoop', one of my favs.

I was in school in the early noughties but I don't remember hearing that. I like it though. I would have liked it when I was in school if I'd heard it.

@HairbrushDiva So, the story goes, my GLAMmother saw her on the Jools Holland show, like, in '96 or '97, and started getting her albums. She's done a lot of solo albums and, Little Jackie have done 3 albums, the last one in about 2014.

She's never been super big or anything, but she makes really good records.

@JasminD I was only 7 or 8 in '96 or '97. I'll keep my eyes open for a Little Jackie CD.
