Steve Vai Cover 'Juice' by Hope

So, we did a thing today, me and Hope.

We borrowed some recording software and we decided to record the first song that Hope has practiced and practiced for the 2 1/2 years she has been playing guitar.

It's the first song that she wanted to learn, and the first song that she got down.

@arthurca Thanks Art. She's put in a lot of practice. The backing track is the original backing track - Steve, bless him, has put out all his albums without the main melody/solo guitar track so that people can play to and make up their own versions, which is a lovely idea.

@arthurca She has her passion (..and warfare! Sorry, Steve Vai in-joke!) and that is lovely to see in anyone, let alone your own child. And, at the risk of being...what's the word? Not 'Golden Child', but I do think she is very talented....and...she's very humble about it all.

By all accounts, it was her 3rd run through, having a little 'red light syndrome' (no pun there for me!) with being a recorded performance. She likes to get things as right as she can - Kaz's influence.

Whatever. I loved it.
