Yeah, when I was a teen there was a song I heard on a tv commercial that took me two years to find the name and the band that plays it. But I finally found it 😆 just to forget it again now in my 20’s.

@deadteddy there was a Mitsubishi Eclipse commercial in the 1990s I always wanted to know the track for (assuming it was not made up by a custom commercial studio just for the advert) ... I never found out, and it's not a commercial that someone has bothered to put on YouTube either, so I can't even try to use Shazam on a YouTube clip of it
