I had two cds on repeat back then. Linkin Park’s Hybrid Theory and…lord help me for admitting this…Nickelback’s Silver Side Up. My taste was all over the place though, from Missy Elliott to System of a Down to Faith Hill.

@Lostpoet I wonder if mumble rap was ever even officially a sub genre? Perhaps Im not paying attention but it never seemed to have really caught on
