Haha Japanese anime is actually very popular in the Arab world. especially in the 90s and beginning of the 2000s.
Most of my childhood as a Saudi was watching Japanese anime on tv ( dubbed to Arabic though)

Just like how there was some fuzz about the new english dub that was used for the Netflix release. Because they removed some of the dialogue that hinted towards the emotions two male characters have for eachother.

@Moon3624 I didn't compare the lyrics. I just liked your version. But I link that song to Evangelion... so I wonder when they are going to do the Saoudi version. I have no idea what part of the lyrics were changed... 😅

I'm not sure if that guy and Shinji would be all snugly together in the Saoudi version either. 😅

@Moon3624 No... it's a really sad show. But there is a moment where two males have feelings for eachother. It's a fairly short moment, but it's important to the story. I would hardly call it a gay show.

I think Evangelion is something people should at least have tried once. Sadly the show has issues because of the lack of funding. And they made 2 diffrent "movies" to end it. But I think the original one, and the 2 endings are worth your time. It's just a fascinating little piece of anime. The Manga is fun to read too.
