I know a couple people who keep complaining to me lately and seeking advice and I really just want to walk away/hang up every time. I feel horrible for not caring more! But honestly, you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink. One asked me today, “at one point does this heavy load get lighter? It’s been heavy 19 years” and just wanted to tell them not until they stop being a drama queen and learn how to control their temper. I responded that in the most polite way I could…but ugh…I just don’t have time for that. But at the same time, I want to lift them up! Enough is enough though.

@Birdman666 Yeah, generally I give people 3 passes…I’ll listen, support and whatever. But if they won’t get their life together I can’t lose my sanity trying to do it for them. These 2 people are special exceptions. It’s hard to have that patience though! We all deserve to have someone who believes in us though
