I do about 4 mile walks after school just listening to my YouTube playlist.

I love 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s music. Growing up listening to beautiful tracks from Elvis, David Bowie, Phil Collins and more. Really got me attached to music from those eras.

I am partial to modern music but that mostly in gaming soundtracks. 鈽猴笍

Just to waffle a bit as I hit McDonalds and have myself a white coffee (no sugar), after my own walk into town. I tend to just muse as I walk along, sometimes even notice the spring blossoms in the trees. Not a time for earphones and music, but each to their own.

I have a few mental health issues and the walk-in and coffee is therapeutic, healing, and things are brighter this morning. For some reason the thought of another walking along listening to 50's etc etc has captured my mind heart.

Anyway, when younger I spent a few years, the early 70's, in Australia and - perhaps more in the way I spent my time there - it was a bit of a cultural backwater. The "glam rock" era passed me by unnoticed. Elton John, Bowie and others I really never heard of as they emerged into the main-stream (not to mention the Wombles.....馃榾 )

But anyway, enough waffling. Maybe you will like my namesake, Telegram Sam, the brilliant Marc Bolan and T-Rex. Tragic that he died so early in a car crash. I have the thought that had he lived he would have still been boogying.....
