Sometimes..........just sometimes.

Doing some chores around the flat earlier today and, as per usual, I put on some music to keep me company. What was maybe not quite so usual was that I dug up an old Miles Davis compilation CD. And then THIS came on.

Nice! 👍 A classic.

One of musical gems in this same genre of music that gets me bopping along while doing chores is Chameleon (Herbie Hancock). The first five minutes of that song gets me everytime.

A few years ago, the Three Musketeers (me and my two best mates that I've told you about numerous times) had convened at at the home of one of the trio. After a really, really heavy night of imbibing various beverages, I crashed out on the sofa. The next morning there I was, still languishing in my alcohol induced stupor when this track came on the stereo. I lay there letting the opening few seconds wash over me. My toes were twitching to the base line......that was about all that I could manage. I then uttered the words that went down in Musketeers history as the daftest thing that I'd ever said.

"This is really cool. What is it?"

I think that, had my mates been in a better condition themselves, they would have picked me up and thrown me out of the house🤣🤣🤣
