@SW-User Yep. I'm a big Jimmie Rodgers fan but my love of Country music begins with Hank and ends in about 1963 when the same studio musicians were playing on almost every record and there were orchestras and choirs.
There is a great story Minnie Pearl told about traveling with Hank and singing "I Saw the Light" in his Cadillac, he was drunk, and he stopped and said, "There ain't no light nowhere."
