My kids music playlist gives me headaches literally

Is it my age ,generation gap or music is usually crap these days?

Yeah I like music that doesn’t hurt my head. I know what you are talking about. Maybe 20 years ago in the summer we’d have a radio to listen to while prepping dorms for students and the younger ones wanted hard rock on the shared radio in hallway. They’d crank it up so loud you couldn’t shut out the noise of it. Some of us got headaches. I asked the lead why we couldn’t take turns listening to different types of music. She asked the supervisor who OK’d it and came back with a notebook and asked each one of us what station we wanted to listen to, and it would be for all day. Some liked country music, some soft rock or pop, and I chose classical music 😂 knowing that would end the loud stuff. Only one day of the classical music, which was a lot softer than the rock music was….and the radio mysteriously broke and that was the end of the loud music.
@cherokeepatti Fond memories you have ,thanks for sharing 😊,those days were the best ,weren’t they ?
These days I don’t understand the music nor the lyrics. They’re fused together to form a melody that’s confusing and silly with a bunch of different rhythms , beats and pitches.🤦‍♀️

@Caleidoscope has something to do with the frequency, which is not good for health. Music frequencies can be healing if they are the right ones. Can be a type of therapy in fact.
