1. First concert, KISS, Nassau Coliseum, 1979
2. Last Concert, Vanessa Carlton, City Winery NYC, Nov. 2021
3. Worst - Motley Crue, opening for Aerosmith around 2006 or so, took an eternity between songs, Vince couldn't sing a note. They sucked balls. Aerosmith effortlessly blew them away.
4. Loudest - Neil Young and Crazy Horse, 1991. I've seen metal bands from Metallica to S.O.D., and NY made them all sound like a clock radio.
5. Best - Paul McCartney, 2002. He was just on fire. And who has a better set list?
6. Most - I've seen Rush, James Taylor, Indigo Girls. Lindsey Buckingham, Beach Boys, Marillion at least 6x each, but I think it's going to be VH, with both DLR and SH, once in the 80s, once in 2004, 5 times on the 2007/8 tour alone, and once during 2013 or so.
7. Most Surprising - Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. Saw them as an opening act and they just KILLED from the first note.
8. Happy I got to see - KISS original lineup, Prince as well as Tony Bennett sitting in with Stevie Wonder!! Rush, Peter Frampton. Etta James, Joe Morello Quartet, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Van Halen.
9. Wish? Too long to mention - Tom Petty, Bowie, Beatles, Stones w/Charlie, Cheap Trick w/Bun., Van Halen in the 70s/80s.
10. Don't laugh, Vanessa at City Winery next month. I'm a big fan.
