Fleetwood Mac ~ Landslide

.a melodic humming of humm, the soulful snow covered reflections, felt as little birds, listening.

I took my love, I took it down
I climbed a mountain and I turned around
And I saw my reflection in the snow-covered hills
'Til the landslide brought me down
Oh, mirror in the sky
What is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changin' ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?
Well, I've been afraid of changin'
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Even children get older
And I'm getting older too
Well, I've been afraid of changin'
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Even children get older
And I'm getting older too
Oh! I'm getting older too
Oh-oh, take my love, take it down
Oh-oh, climb a mountain and you turn around
And if you see my reflection in the snow-covered hills
Well, the landslide bring it down
And if you see my reflection in the snow-covered hills
Well, the landslide bring it down
Oh-ohh, the landslide bring it down

One of my favorites by Fleetwood Mac....such a beautiful song!! The beginning of the song always hits me.....then the chorus.....just amazing. Deep insights in this song!!

This one's always been an emotional one for me, especially.......

There's something beautifully melancholic about it in general.
@MoonlightLullaby There is something beautifully melancholic about it, I'm always drawn to those beautiful melancholic pieces, and if I may say, as if it were a question, 'you can, and will'

Stevie was 19 when she wrote that.
@uncalled4 I think I read that somewhere before, actually. Very mature words, but if you look upon the lyrics, it does give rise to that in idea. Thank you for that piece of information.

@thewindupbirdchronicles Amazingly mature perspective for that age, even someone well into their 20s.
@uncalled4 Remarkably to me, though, there is an actual sense of her age in the words. Which adds to the amazingly mature perspective. There's 50-year olds without that amount of perspective, possibly higher.
