Hard to pick out one. I like Mark Knopfler from Dire Straights. Bob Dylan.

@jackson55 Mark Knopfler is a good choice. Not only good on the guitar but an accomplished songwriter. He is an English graduate who also worked as a reporter, both of which inevitably helped! As for Dylan, he's a good painter too!
