A sweet beautiful song I never want to dance or sing upon again

[media=https://youtu.be/cRAFi4esNH8]
I built my house beside the wood
So I could hear you singing
And it was sweet and it was good
And love was all beginning
Fare thee well my nightingale
'Twas long ago I found you
Now all your songs of beauty fail
The forest closes 'round you
The sun goes down behind a veil
'Tis now that you would call me
So rest in peace my nightingale
Beneath your branch of holly
Fare thee well my nightingale
I lived but to be near you
Tho' you are singing somewhere still
I can no longer hear you

The lyrics speak of a lost love. It is important to know when to move on. The music of the nightingale? You may still hear its refrain distantly. Your feet cannot go forwards and back at the same time. Time goes on and on.

@PoetryNEmotion It also exists as a song in future, seeing what they never want to feel again. As a promise to oneself, while seeing all has happened before. All words have a presence in the present if we really look upon them.
@SW-User I have read your words. That is all. I weave words. Mind your manners.

@PoetryNEmotion 🙏 Maybe one day I'll come to a state of grace, that I see, where if I respond upon my own expression, I am minding my manners.
@SW-User Acting all imperial? Is English your first language? Learn the meaning of grace. Then behave gracefully.

@PoetryNEmotion You don't handle rebuttals well? I can handle a state of grace fine.
@SW-User Do not mock me. You will lose big time. Know your place. Adios.

@PoetryNEmotion I know my place well, adios, ciao.
