I guess going rates for concert tickets these days are $2,500 on up for cheap seats at that … remember when a dime bag cost a dime?

I went to see Alice Cooper in 1979.
First concert. I think the tickets were $10 standing room only.
Then I saw Kiss in the mid 80's ...$12....

@SW-User It was so wild. I was 12 I think, and mom had no idea what went on at those concerts. LOL
The door guy almost didn't let me and my brother, 14, in. He took the tickets and looked at us and said "I can't let you guys in here".
My brother with all his charm replied.. " But sir, our mom already left."
The dudes shoulders dropped and he shook his head and ripped the tickets handing the stubs back and said " Enjoy the show boys." LOL
Man it was so awesome. Standing room only meant my face was shoved in someones butt right away.
I would get pushed forward into the next person and they would look back and push me to the next group in front of them. They kept on til I was standing at the stage wall. Some dude picked me up so I could rest my arms on it and just kind of dangle there. LOL
I watched the entire show front middle on the wall.
I completely lost my brother til outside after the show.
I probably had a hell of a contact buzz going. LOL

@SW-User It was so awesome.
My brother had gotten one of his albums for his birthday around that time.
Flash forward to about ten years ago he takes that same album to an Alice Cooper meet and great for Halloween. He got Alice to sign it and I guess he was pretty pumped because it was all beat to hell and stuff.
